My Dog,Joy, has lost a lot of weight in the last month. Her teeth have become very sensitive so eating her meal everyday is getting very hard. Her meal consists of a cup of dry dog food and a half a can of Alpo Wet food twice a day. We have tried senior dog food but she does’nt like it and refuses to eat it! We have her teeth cleaned every year. I have grown up with Joy…and love her to death…She is twelve years old.
Okay so i have two dogs that are on Blue Buffalo and Alpo canned food. they are having digestive issues like diarrhea. and i know its the alpo cuz my chihuahua was fine before. so i want to know what kind of canned dog food from blue buffalo would be good to mix with his food. He is on the Small breed Chicken and Rice formula.
I was only feeding the alpo because the previous owner of my new dog gave it to us. And no my chihuahua WON’T eat without it. I’ve tried not giving him treats all day and his food being the only thing he gets and he still wont eat. I only mix a little wet food with the dry food so he’ll eat so its not a whole can and no dry dog food at all. ive tried soaking his food in water to soften it and still he’ll only eat a little them walk away from it. if you guys have any other ideas please give them because i dont know what else to do. its not an underlying health problem i know that.
I have a 12 yr old dog with food allergies, she’s constantly itching and biting. The vet said she has food allergies, and gave prednisone, which is not helping. My husband can’t remember if the vet recommended any special food. She gets advantage for fleas, so it’s not a flea problem. I have 3 dogs in all, and she’s the only one with this problem. Is there any dog food that will help ease her food allergy?
I have an 8 mo. old Weimaraner and a year old Yorkie. I have to feed both of them the same food b/c they eat at the same time and eat from each other’s bowls. Is it OK to start feeding both of them Avoderm Chicken Meal and Rice for Adults?
BTW, we have a vet appointment next week where I am planning to ask but just want to know now.
Canned dog food, that is.
My dog would never eat her dry dog food unless I put canned food with it. But then she just picks out the canned food out of the dry food.
Is it ok for her to eat canned food for a regular meal everyday? Or should I get her to eat dry food?
